We were ever so grateful and excited to present our guild’s donation to Seattle Children’s Hospital for $56,000 this year with the Taylor family! They were so pivotal in the fundraising efforts this year. This year the donation is directed to Dr. Erin Crotty’s research. Dr. Crotty cared for Danica and her research and interest lies in the translation of new strategies from the lab bench to the patient and focuses on tumors including medulloblastoma, DIPG, high-grade glioma, and ependymoma.
Later that day the oldest brother of Danica’s, Gus, enjoyed an opportunity to blow glass at our glass blowing sponsor’s, Art by Fire, studio in Issaquah, WA. Fun was had by the Taylors, and Art by Fire.
