“The Hope is in the Research”

Listen to this informative and powerful “Help and Hope Happen Here” podcast interview with Natalie and Dene Smith where they openly share their experiences with Natalie’s battles with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, family life and the founding of Friends for Life Guild. Natalie is now a healthy, happy and grateful 21 year old. And she can proudly say she is going to graduate from Georgetown University with a degree in English. She aspires to combine her passion and talent for writing to be a Pediatric Doctor. No matter what is in her future career, we know she will do something great things for the future of pediatric cancer.  Dene, who is also a shining inspiration to the guild, is also still passionate about improving the future of pediatric cancer patients treatments and in finding a cure with our Friends For Life Guild.

We thank all of the broader community that has supported our guild and helped move us closer to a cure.
