Cole 2023 Ambassador –
In July 2022 as Cole prepared for his Senior year as Hanford High School’s starting Quarterback, he had to call an audible after doctor’s discovered a tumor compressing his spinal cord and was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare childhood cancer.
Rather than leading plays for his football team, Cole, had the starring role in treatments that included spine stabilization, 14 chemo and 25 radiation treatments.
He returned home in April 2023, and graduated with his class. Cole perseveres with great strength—adjusting to life in a wheelchair and working hard to regain as much mobility in his legs and left hand as possible.
His ornaments and votives are inspired by his Hanford High School colors–purple and yellow.
